Grock plates suck, though the cited HollieSin wears a RMR footprint. Hint.

I ended up taking the RD off mine (deltapoint pro), moved it to an AR.
Maybe it was just me but the gains in aiming wasn't worth the tradeoff for bulk and perceived shake in sight picture.
I did replace that front sight with the Trijcon HDX or whatever... kept the adjustable rear sight.
Anyways, just throwing this out there in case you reach similar verdict after a while.

Do yourself a favor and get the new Holosun SCS which mounts DIRECTLY to the mos screw holes in the slide. The Green Dot is easier to see than red, no battery change issues, and you can use the factory night sights!

I recently mounted one on my G22-5 and it is outstanding!

Currently available at Midway for $349.

I think stick has the wrong model plate in the link that link is for the 507c not the k. The 507k is a proprietary footprint and the 507 508 c and t use the Trijicon rmr footprint. He’s absolutely right on the brand of plates, you can’t beat them but if your running the 507k you’ll need a different model plate. However the 507k has a smaller windshield and all around smaller than the c and t versions. Having both I’d go with the larger optics that stick sent the plate link for on a g40 or any full size gun. But if you’ve already bought the 507k you going to need the plate for the 507 k in the below link. Or put the 507k on a 43x or 48 and get another 507c or t for the g40. Once you start down this road you find you don’t want to go back (if your actually shoot them)

I'm currently using a JPoint 4 MOA Micro Sight on my gen 4 G40 and suppressor height Trijicon tritium sights. But after looking into the Holosun SCS... lol! I like the idea of no battery changes and lower mounted height. I also like smaller dots for hunting, they don't cover up more of the "target" at longer ranges. Put a KKM 7" barrel on it to eek out all I could from my hunting loads. Enjoy your new acquisitions gunner8305!
