I've got several thousand rds. of original Eley 17 Mach 2. Unopened cases with bricks still in the plastic wrap. Gunbroker prices are higher than giraffe pu$$y with listed prices ranging from .50 cents to $1.00 per round. I completely understand supply & demand since it appears Eley has no intentions of ever making it again. Sad b/c this ammo is proven scary accurate and there is a strong demand. I'll probably list the ammo in the classifieds soon.

Without screwing myself or a potential buyer, what is a fair selling/listing price for both parties .... .30 cents, .35 cents, .40 cents a rd. ? FWIW, here is my 17M2 ... Sako Finnfire, Lilja barrel, Jewell 12 oz. trigger, Hall scope rings, Burris compact 3-12 with target turrets & A.O. as she's such a pleasure to shoot. I've got a clone to this Sako Finnfire but chambered in 17 HMR. Thx for the replies and feel free to PM if you prefer

Not really sure on the ammo price.

But I do have a ? on your scope choice for these HM rifles.

I have an HM2 that I love. Such a good shooting little rifle. And a couple HMRs.Bought an HMR a while back and have never gotten around to scoping it.

What is your go-to glass for rifles like this?

You might experience seller's remorse if you sell your stock of Eley 17HM2 ammo. Before you sell the ammo, shoot some of the 15.5 and 17 grain CCI/Hornady and see if it puts the same smile on your face when you look at the target.

This from a guy who has had his fair share of seller's remorse.

Paying close attention here. Scopes and ammo interest me. I have 2 LH bolts that I had re-barreled. One a Remington 581 done by Brian Voelker and the other, a Browning T-Bolt done by my local 'smith.

I've bought a decent amount of the Eley through the years and would agree with the other replies about trying out the new ammo before trying to cash in on your old Eley.

The newer options from Hornady and CCI are not in the same ballpark as the Eley.

They're decent...but nothing like the Eley...
