I do when I am at the legislature, especially if I am testifying in committee, though I may not this next year if the Lord lets me live that long. It was out of respect for the institution, I have lost a lot of respect for that institution over the last two years...

Learned to tie one as a youth. Had to occasionally wear one in High School. Had to wear them in the Navy and then after in corporate world from time to time.
Haven't worn one in a while. (my last 2 job interviews, I did in a hoodie)

Back when I was a Chippendale...
Didn't work out as a career.

I use to have to wear one for work everyday. I will wear one every now and then now but really can't remember the last time I did wear one.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I wore one for my mother's funeral last week. I had to pull up a web page to remember how to tie it. Some of the knots look like a drunk tied them.

Hate them now... wore them in my previous life for 30 years. No more suits for me thank you. My attitude and anxiety is much better now than when I was a money manager.... Now I can breatheeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

My mom pounded it into my head that you never wore one indoors.

Wore one for about 25 years, five days a week, at work of course. Other than the cost of them and dry cleaning, wasn’t a big deal after you get used to it. Been retired 10 years, think I’ve worn one twice, funerals.

I bought a new suit for my wife's funeral in '06. I've only worn it 8 or 10 times since, each time for a wedding or a funeral.

Use to wear one every day. Now, it's very rare. Can't remember that last time I wore tie.
Wind in my hair, Sun on my face, I gazed at the wide open spaces, And I was at home.

I wear bolos, bandanas, cravats, very rarely a neck tie or bow tie. I have to get gussied up at times. However, when I do I have no problem wearing a bolo and caiman boots with a tux! LOL Cat

I like to mostly to Church, regular, bolo, western, if it's too hot, then open shirt. If it requires a tie, I don't want to be there. Weddings, funerals, court appearances. Unless you wear a tie all day every day, wearing a tie to church sends messages I choose not to send. God has already seen me in my skivvies, isn't going to be impressed by a tie, so wearing a tie to church is "puttin' on airs" (as my grandparents would have said) to impress people. Church is supposed to be about your personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, not about trying to impress your fellow sinners. IMHO anyway. Tom
