I have 3 Remington 700 classics. All 3 have been fired but are in perfect condition. All are priced individual but would sell all 3 as a package. Can provide pics by text or email. Pics will be available tomorrow.

1981 7x57 first year of the classics 1 of 2018 $1250

1994 6.5x55 1 of 3858 $1250

2004 8x57 1 of 2248 $1050

All prices are shipped and insured in hard case.

That first year 7x57 is tempting.

First year 7x57 is a tough one to find, that's a mighty fair price.

Maybe someone should educate us on the Unlisted Classics. My 7mag Classic was made in 1985. B prefix. Same year as 350 Mag.

Glosto: The Remington 700 Classics began production in 1978 and were offered in 6 (six) calibers until 1985 - those original calibers were 22-250 Remington, 243 Winchester, 6m/m Remington, 7m/m Remington Magnum, 270 Winchester and 30/06!
Starting in 1981 Remington also began offering a "select" cartridge each year thereafter - in 1981 they offered the 7x57 Mauser cartridge in addition to the original calibers listed above.
Then in 1985 the original 6 (six) calibers were stopped but the yearly chosen caliber program continued.
I have owned MANY Remington 700 Classics and they all shot/shoot very well indeed. I don't know why (fresh reamers/tooling/extra care?).

A poster in that other thread I linked stated that the limited classics came out of the custom shop. I’m not sure that was true. Can anyone verify?

Last bump. Will take $100 off each rifle if buying more than one.

If you’d use post image, you’d be able to post pictures very easily.

makes sense, my dad had a classic in 22 250. Nice rifle. As far as yours, they left the best for last imo. I have one, but bought it as a barreled action. Now sits in a mountain stock. Two of my 3 girls used it for their first rifle.
