Glad you found it and got it cut out. I had a chunk taken off the top of my right ear few years ago. Been clean since but I get an annual dermatology exam.

Friends wife didn't like the look of his mole.
The Doc said! "It doesn't look bad, I think it's fine. Let's send you to
a dermatologist. Just out of caution."
Dermatologist said, "I think it's fine, but since you are here, we might as well
go ahead and take it."
Melanoma!
Then he had to return for another surgery to cut into good margins.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
