Yes. Smoked salmon. It turned out great.

1 C salt
2 C sugar
1 Gal H2O
90 minutes brine.
Kudos to Sitka deer.


Form pellicle and smoke to preference. I used the Big Chief.

What type wood did you use?

Oh and how long in the brine?

I use alder. Just the chips/chunks in a bag.
