Sounds to me like sellers just looking for low maintenance buyers! Why jump through hoops when buyers are easy to find? Why sell cheap when you can sell high? I don't have to like it but I get it. GD

I’ve been happy and had great results from the FN guns and most have had good to great wood on them. I agree with you. Did a brief stint at Camp Lejeune back in the 70's. Thanks much. If you could find a 2008 limited, they have exceptionally nice wood. For sure! Or some of the limited Featherweights that had upgraded wood. Can’t remember what they called them but some had some nice wood. I’d still be down for a SS Featherweight in the dark maple stock. I was such a dumbshit for not getting the first one I saw.

Seems like if I actually cared about selling and it really was just fingerprints... I'd just send you a photo of them wiped off. Seller might be telling the truth but if they aren't willing to lift a finger for sale I'd probably steer clear anyway. Yeah, how hard is it to wipe a rifle down before taking pics? Or taking new pics for a potential buyer? Not very.. Exactly. You read well and have insight.

Cabelas is a big corporation selling buying and thousands of rifle each year. They're not going to concede to the special request of each and every potential buyer from across the nation. Yeah, they should wipe down their guns before the photography session, and they should take better pictures, too. But it is more profitable (i.e., consuming fewer corporate resources) to write-off the small group of critical buyers as too maintenance-intense, and focus on selling to the average Joe. They'll make pretty much the same profit with far fewer hassles.
A person wanting good customer service is going to have to go to their LGS, pay the up-charge, and be patient while stuff is ordered.

My local Cabela’s has a .270 Winchester and a 6.5 PRC in stock.
Tulalip Washington I believe I've seen it. A very high price for a 6.5 PRC, around $1599.00 isn't it? What's their price on the .270 and could you provide the link?
