Let’s bump this up again. Anybody else shoot anything with a popgun this year? I’ve been under the weather and haven’t blown a coyote call since the new year started but I have shot a pickup load or so of pigs just incidentally on my drive home and whatnot. Still shooting mostly 77TMKs and 55 Hornadys.

BTHP's out of my AR's simply because I bought a bunch of them a while back. No real complaints, my other bullet is Hornady 60 gr. flat based HP's.

Kid, I didn't shoot any because I committed to using lever guns this season, but my brother tested a load I had worked up for my grandson. The results I saw have convinced me to join the stunt shooters. I'll be working up loads this spring for a new T3 .223 with 77gr. TMKs and TBBCs. My Abolt has a 1/12 twist so we'll be sticking to the 55gr. Hornady bullets for it. I"m posting a link to the TBBC thread to make it easier. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbt...8016221/loads-for-62gr-tbbc#Post18016221

You wankers might wanna try something a bit more exciting? I know my gaff is a bit more than .22 caliber, but.... Be quick or be dead.

DD,
I grew up in Mississippi using catch dogs and carrying them out live to fatten up before butchering. I killed a few with the .22 LR as well.
