I don't know - I think we're past having politicians with ideas (sans Trump/DeSantis) and basically just figureheads.

Mike runs for the Dems - what does he bring to the table that convinces the middle that they don't end up with 4 more years of the Obama admin - we're in the middle of 4 years of it now. All it would be is an extension of biden and biden by any other name is still inflation, border issues, recession etc - things people care about. Just be a different wrapper.

Look at Hillary. Before she ran, she was Senator from NY, and the Sec of State. At least that qualified her as having some experience that would relate to the office.

Michelle Obama has experience as... First Lady? What vote does she bring to the Party that automatically doesn't already vote Democrat? None.

I seriously doubt Mike could handle debates without revealing her true nature and lack of “gravitas” (remember that one?).

Besides, they’re most likely already running the country through Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett. Why inconvenience yourself with the day-to-day drudgery?
