I have for sale a used Smith & Wesson model of 1950 (pre-26) revolver in .45 ACP/Auto Rim with 6.5" barrel. It is one of 2,968 ever made per the S&W book, was made in the early 1950s (serial #S85xxx), and is in excellent condition. Lockup, timing, etc. are all spot-on. No push-off of hammer at full-cock. Bore and cylinder/chambers are also excellent. This gun has been fired and well-maintained. No rust or corrosion of any kind. No factory re-work marks on the frame under grips. Any reflections that may appear as missing bluing are false. The gun retains its original bluing as it left the factory. Please note one distraction in the last picture. No box or anything else. I'd like $1850 shipped insured from my FFL to your FFL. Thank you for looking.

I have a 1950, and I think your price is a steal. Mine has fire blue parts, made the first year I think. Most accurate and easy shooting handgun I own.

Don't see pics of a box. Do you have the original S&W box for the gun?

Gun looks very nice.

Thank you.

Dang it! I looked for one of these for years before giving up and buying a 625 to scratch the Auto Rim itch. Don’t suppose you’d be interested in anything for trade?

Do you have moon clips for it or does it not use them.

I'll send some moonclips with the gun, as it uses them. I've shot thousands of rounds in a model 625 45ACP revolver and never used clips; or I use 45 auto rim brass.

I've bought moon clips from boatboy, on this site. Just a FYI.
