I got a good chuckle out of this, especially as a 300 Weatherby owner.

Liars should have good memories.

Instant death with a bullet placed anywhere on the body. So basically, it's a 6.5 Creedmoor? 😂😇😂😇

Nevermind the already broken glass.

Hope the Libs don't see this old video.

300s will be on the choping block.

Came close to a 6.5-300 to go with my 257 and 300 , might still happen.

Instant death!

Wonder how many bought into that; and if it contributed to the reputation of guys not being able to shoot the big weatherby mags well. If taken at face value, there would be no need to spend the time to learn to shoot well - anywhere on the animal would do.

I'm imagining him breaking a beer bottle and challenging you to a brawl, Happy Gilmore style, for that remark.

Yeah, that is a shame too. I have one in fact that was originally a 300H&H. I love the 300wby cartridge, but good ol Roy really talked that 300 up. Good thing there was no internet back then because he would have been instantly called on that schidt!! Funny thing, I've seen a couple of the old original mauser built Weatherby rifles recently. They were nice, but over a grand. May be worth it, just for the history of them, but I'm content with my pre 64 that has been rechambered...

You got to be careful so you don't blow the critter in half though..

Would have been interesting to hear Roy and George Herter debate .300 Weatherby Magnum versus .300 Herter's Ram Magnum.

Woulds needed knee boots to save your pantlegs.
