Out doing errands today and passed a string (six or seven) Model T Fords about to get onto I-80. On each door was a decal that said "Model T Coast to Coast" so I presume that's what they're trying to do.

Can you imagine being in such a caravan? Across the US at 30 mph in a Model T? I wonder how they manage things like tires and parts?

Could find nothing on the interweb about them except for a book about a guy who did it some time ago. He did it in one vehicle, but this was a string of them.

I enjoy seeing the old cars. It's a labor of love for those that partake in restorations.

No kidding! A semi going past at 75 could literally blow them off the road.

I was just guessing about their speed. When I passed them they had just left a traffic light and were still accelerating, but I had to brake and change lanes to get around them. I'm thinking that maybe they spent the night in Ogden before getting back onto I-84 and then I-80. They all looked to be in fabulous condition and no two were alike as far as I could see given my short look.
