As others have said, that stock is outstanding!

Well, I was shooting a Remington Model 7 in 243 at the range a year or so ago and I took a shot of gas to the face, three trips to the eye dr and my eye eventually sorted itself out. Was not wearing glasses, my error. Not sure why the pressure spiked, gunsmith could not find any issues with rifle although some copper fouling. Factory ammo, no handloads.

Blew a casehead in a .264WM. Locked the bolt up like a bank vault door.
It was epic.
No injuries.

I took one HELL of a shot of gas and burnt powder residue to the face years ago.

Mid-80's XTR in .300 Win Mag. Case separated right ahead of the belt (young, dumb and not resizing correctly) and TOTALLY face punched me. I was alone at a remote range and not wearing shooting glasses............... Terrified to open my eyes because I thought I'd be blind. Probably an over-reaction looking back. But it whopped me HARD.
