Condolences. You did the man right by allowing him the dignity and comfort to be cared for and finally breath his last at home amongst family instead of at a strange nursing home surrounded by strangers. His suffering is now over and the burden is lifted from you as well.

Very sorry to hear this news, you can be proud of how you cared for him in his last days.
My father passed from a stroke at 96 during covid, so no one was allowed to be there, you were luckier than a lot and your dad went with dignity.
You did well honouring dad and showing your true character.

Passed a little after 4 this morning. You did your best for him Roger. It was your dads time and he was among family till the end. You did the right thing man and dealt with the adversity of it all. All will work out now given some time. Sorry for you and your family's loss.
