I've located my new house and now need to build a palace for my dog. My last kennel had a sand base with a wire mesh over the sand and then 1/2 inch round gravel on top. Surrounded in chain link fence with 2X8 pressure treated lumber around the parameter sunk to the height of the gravel. I'm thinking to build the same base but was looking for an upgrade to the chain link look. Any suggestions?
