I am hoping there is a chemical way, got an infestation in my backyard. If I have to dig it all up I can, but wondering if there is another way. Roundup hasn't seemed to work at all thus far.

Not yet, just springing up. Lot was scraped for our build and the rain we have had brought it out of dormancy.

The plant is my nemesis. If you ever slip on the steeps, there will always be one to grab onto.

Wading thru a forest of them in short sleeves is also a "pleasure".

Most likely you have cow parsnip which is related to devils club. I’ll bet roundup will kill it. Spring bear food when it’s emerging

2-4-D on broadleafs. Will not affect grasses if they're present.

Use a real brush killer like RM43 and mix it like it says, don't cheap out on it.

Regular Roundup is not a brush killer.

It's some good scheidt Maynard!

Not as bad as a bramble thicket though, according to some easterners. whistle

Glad our usual humidity levels are below 30% with many day in single digit territory. Not much chance of it getting a foothold here!

Remedy weed killer mixed w diesel fuel through a sprayer. Do not get it on anything you do not want dead. It’s been the real deal for us for years. Takes very little.
