As has been proven, a mower-thrown rock can be as powerful as a pistol slug. Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

And the prohibition against running over babies doesn't seem to include mowing near someone else.

I always wanted to ask him just how in the heck it happened, but he did not want to talk about it, so I didn't. I don't want anyone around me when I'm mowing, as there are too many things that can happen. I've seen mowers throw objects a long way, and years ago, I broke a truck window out with a rock the mower threw.
