Of the ones on here who carry pocket Revolvers what brand, caliber and model do you carry? Have been contemplating getting one for house carry. BTW I probably will never carry it outside the property. Except to the range and back. Otherwise I carry a 45 Auto or a Smith M69
Thanks

For house carry, I carry whatever I carry outside the house. On rare occasion, I carry a pocket gun outside as my primary gun. It's typically my Sig P-238 in my Alabama pocket holster. Ordinarily, I carry a Combat Commander type 1911 .45 in an IWB holster.

Taurus 85 in 38. Yeah I bought it when I didn't have much money and I've almost traded it in on an S&W several times. But it hits where it's pointed and it's so accurate. I'm always shocked by how well I shoot it. It's never had a malfunction either so it's hard to give up on

The only revolver that I consider suitable for front pants pocket carry is the NAA Mini Revolver. Back 25 and 30 years ago, I occasionally carried that in a pocket holster. Then, for a while, it was my bathrobe pocket holster. Now it's somewhat retired, and in my bathrobe pocket resides an S&W Model 38 Airweight.
It's a J-Frame .38 Special with a shrouded hammer, but you still have access to the hammer spur for manual cocking, if you should ever feel the need. The shroud prevents snagging on clothing as you draw.
It's the gun that's with me when I go out back to let the chickens out first thing in the morning.

I've always admired it. Nice action. Good looking little gun.

When I pocket carry a revolver it's the Colt Magnum Carry in 357 magnum. This revolver is no longer made, it has been replaced in the Colt line up with the 2" Colt King Cobra. If you just want in in 38 Special, get the Colt Cobra. These are steel framed revolvers so the are heavier than a Smith & Wesson 442/642 or Ruger LCR.

Right after the 22 LR 6 inch version.

For true pocket carry S&W 638-3, 642-1 with laser handle, 637-2...all of them fit a uncle mike's #3. I also have 1791 belt holster for them too. My only pistol pocket carry is a glock 42 in blackhawk #4 holster.
I hope this helps.
I have other small guns that could fit in a pocket but are too heavy...YMMV.

Mine does not have a hammer spur on it. Carried it for many years. It too is very accurate. I carry a Shield mostly now but occasionally stick the old Taurus in my back pocket when I walk my dogs.

I think the older Taurus revolvers were better made. I never remember Taurus having a bad reputation back in the 80s? If I'm not mistaken, they started making double action revolvers after purchasing an S&W factory in Brazil (or came into possession of said factory due to a temporary merger). As I recall, they just fired up the factory and started spitting out S&W revolvers with the Taurus name on them, or at least very close. The S&W design patents were all expired. This is why early Taurus double action revolvers look and operate so much like old S&W revolvers. Someone correct me if I've got that wrong, but that's my memory of it.

The Taurus 85Ti with CT grips is very hard to beat. Each of my nieces got one when they graduated from college.

A S&W 36 (no dash) was a favorite for years, but finally retired it. The Taurus 85 rivals the Smiths in my opinion. I had the ultimate once, in my opinion of course, it was a Taurus 606 2" stainless, but an ex decided to take it with her............bitch.
