A person can get insurance poor. That's very true, but in this lawsuit happy time, not having it can make you a lot poorer. Ambulance chasing lawyers are a scourge.
Sin wouldn't be so attractive if the wages were paid immediately.

err, I'll make a point to buy insurance just before I shoot.  I wonder if a preexisting condition matters when you apply. I need me some insurance; I shot a guy yesterday. Sadly, much depends on your local District Attorney. If you're facing a liberal DA, all the insurance in the world won't matter. Even in a good shoot IE: no charges you still are at risk for a civil suit. That is where I want to know if the CCW insurances give any coverage.

In NC in the event an investigation rules a shoot good civil suits are off the table.
