What a nice little 22. Feeds and shoots everything! Almost as nice as a 52....maybe.

Very nice rifle Jorge, but I'm a little confused, you're buying Remington rifles?

Jorge1: Good for you - that looks like a very clean Rifle!
What "part" of that 521-T makes it a "Junior"?
The pictures don't define that for me.
I have owned 521-T's and they indeed do function very well and gave very good accuracy.
Your "comparison" though, of the 521-T to a Winchester Model 52 is, well, overly generous/optimistic.
I would contend that the Remington 521-T is "almost as nice" as a Winchester Model 75 Target.
Enjoy that fine Rifle.

IT says :Junior" on the barrel and it's a lot shorter than the regular 521-T

My first rifle. Still have it. dad would give me 6 22's and expect me to come back with 6 squirrels. Don't think ever happened.

Nice rifles. Was either the first or second 22LR rifle I ever owned. IIRC, the 521T count in my safe is up to 4. smile

As to being as nice as a Win 52, the jury is gonna be out some time on that one.

The first rifle I ever fired at about 3 years of age, sitting on the ground in front of my dad, rifle rested across his knee.

Very slick little rifle

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

anyone own a 521 T and a junior special? I'd like to see side by side pics to see if there really are any differences.

Mine says both 521T and Junior Special on the barrel. It’s my understanding that Junior referred to a class of small-bore competition determined by rifle size/weight/configuration and not that the rifle was intended for kids. I know mine is definitely a full-sized rifle. I know a friend of mine had a 513 T that was more of an all-out target rifle. I seem to recall Remington promoting the 521 T as a combination target/field rifle in ‘60’s promotional literature.

I could be wrong about any or all the above, being old and not having the best mind to begin with.
