I'm in need of a new floatable gun case. What would you recommend?

I have used several, two I bought from Roger's sporting goods and my last one I bought from a Benelli dealer. The Rogers house brand stuff is good.

Divebomb makes the best floating case I've found. I ended up buying 5 or 6 of them and they have all held up extremely well

I havent used any brand that was bad. They all seem to hold up fine. I have a duck commander one from ~17 years ago thats still holding up well. Also use avery, banded, and academy brand, all decent

I think mine are Avery cases

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

When looking at floating gun cases I look for one that opens the full length so it can be dried easily. Mine is a Drake.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

I need to get away from avery/banded. I have several but the foam lining seems to rip real easy from charging handle or front bead. Need to find a better one.

I had a beretta case and this happened, barrel would get caught in the rip down inside the case everytime trying to slide the gun in.

Just make sure you get one that has an extra strap on the end. One of mine has just a velcro on the end and folds over to a snap. I had a gun slide right out of it when I put in on my shoulder. I bought new ones that have a strap on the end to make sure your gun stays in case. I also like the ones that open up so you can dry them easier if it rains.

I have a tanglefree that I love. It has a hard coated muzzle end. When you use extended choke tubes they tend to cut the lining, especially the muzzle end and that won't happen with this case. It also has metal clasps for the sling and GOOD velcro for the closure strap.

The lion and tiger might be stronger, but the wolf does not perform in the circus.
