Got a 300 wsm muzzle diameter is .600. Gonna shoot it as is first but I have never been a glutton for punishment…is there enough there for a muzzle break?

What about a suppressor? If I get the barrel threaded for a muzzle break would a suppressor work as well?

Depends on what the min shoulder height, your gunsmith is comfortable with - if he's ok with a 50-thousands minimum, the minimum barrel OD would be 0.597 - so with a .600 barrel diameter, you could install a muzzle brake with 1/2 - 28 threads, but nothing with a larger thread diameter.

Best choice would be 9/16x24. Gives less shoulder but way more barrel thickness. Worst case your gunsmith could turn a false shoulder to set the brake or suppressor mount against.

Now with even more aplomb
