I always consider you one of the good guys around here and that seemed out of character for you. Best of luck with your health, that experience couldn't be any fun for sure. Take care.

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

MOGC, same to you. The reason this kind of behavior infuriates me is that it's been the catalyst for so many of the Old Guard leaving the board. Dudes come on the board and blovulate about the subject matter of a thread and run their yaps while they have no direct experience or don't even own any of the hardware they're yapping about (gun writer xyz says so).

For example: This thread... or the constant badgering of shrapnel shouting grouse out of a tree with a pistola. The main douchebag antagonist who was badgering shrapnel has probably never even seen a grouse. But, that has no bearing on him taking poetic license to criticize shrapnel.

Somebody wants to know something about a new Python or a new Anaconda, ask me.. or at least ask somebody who has forgot more about them than I'll ever know, like Mike Heffron.

I'm dun here. No more casting pearls before swine.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.

Yeah. Good luck with that.
Check Gunsamerica and such on line. I know, that’s ask, not sales. Vintage snake guns do demand a premium.

I own a new python and the trigger is terrible. I need to send it somewhere and have it fixed. Not happy about that on a $1500 gun but other than the trigger it seems like a good gun. I thought about buying a 7 shot 686 as a shooter and just Rat holing the python new as a collector but the recent 686s I've seen have a terrible finish. I picked up a decent used gp100 to shoot while I figure it all out. For years I just used 44 mag and have several of those but as I've gotten older I've seen more value in 357s and 38s for range time. I used to run full house 44 mags all the time but my joints just don't hold up to that like they used too. I don't like a beat up and bloody trigger finger anymore from 310g hot loads in a 329pd.
