I have in my shop a revolver that there is not much on the net about. Was wondering if all the experts out there might be able to enlighten me what it might be. Supposed to shoot 25 different cartridges of the same calibers, as it was billed as a survival gun! This is a Madusa model 4"! Ok tell what you know! Thanks, Otis!

They didn't make very many of them, I've only ever seen one at a gun show maybe 10 years ago. I believe they are a S&W knockoff, but I could be wrong.

They're made to take basically any 357/9mm diameter cartridge, but aren't known for being particularly accurate with any of them.

Never handled or shot one, it's definitely a rare bird.

Otis;
Good morning to you sir, I hope that the day down in your part of Arkansas is treating you well so far.

Here's Ian at Forgotten Weapons with his typically good overview of a Medusa Model 4.

Hope that is useful for you or someone out there in the ether space.

All the best.

Dwayne

Used to work with Johnathan Phillips at the Johnson Space Center back in the early '80s. He was a programmer at the Thermal Chemical Test Area where I worked as an Instumentation Tech. My best Friend, his boss, bought S/N #1 from him. Bob passed away about 5 years ago and I assume his son Nick now owns the giun. Bob's gun was a modified Smith.
