Another vote. First Mexican beer I ever drank. Got into it on a turkey hunting trip in Chihuahua years ago. Still my favorite. No flies on the Modelos, either........Esspecial and Negro both very good.

I don’t drink, but my boss and coworkers do. A Lot. When we worked in central Mexico for a year every night at the hotel bar. They all said it was good stuff. Don’t think it is available here though.

How long are you up here Cert? Back to the beer, these days I will drink michelada's with a mix made by a Father/Son down the road in Texas. Usually with a Coors... HEB sells it. Bohemia was had back in my high school, college summer days after a late night eating Mexican downtown.

I have banned beer for the month of August. Might have a snort of tequila or bourbon, but no beers.

Negra Modelo is my favorite, followed by Pacifico.

Of the 4 or 5 more I've tried, Carta Blanca might be 3rd.

Tecate is pretty good for hot summer days. Negra Modelo the rest of the time.

For fullest flavor in that style I recommend trying "El Sully" lager by 21st Amendment brewery at least once... if you can find it.

Always liked Victoria, as far as Mexican beers go.

Best Mexican beers are Dos Equis green bottle and Tecate.

In cans.
