Branding time was one of those moments that was work and at the same time fun.

Even getting shots for blackleg and other ailments by accident could tame the good memories.

The burns healed up fast too. grin

I'm getting forgetful in my old age. I've got an excuse as I am a product of the late 60's / early 70's and I may have inhaled, unlike a certain politician.

I just went to the pantry to look and sure as scheidt there's a jar of that mustard in there. I bought 3-4 jars the other night while in town, I wanted some more of the Morehouse Horseradish before they sell out so I picked up more of them and I guess I grabbed a jar of the German stuff too. For some reason I thought I grabbed a Sierra Nevada Brewing porter or ale mustard.

On your recommendation, next time I'm in town I'll go back and get a couple of more jars.

I'm slippin' my Eskimo friend. I wonder how long before the real memory problems start.

or maybe flashbacks?

That's what that Govt Doctor lady wanted us to do in the classroom, right?

Have fun, even with yourself!

Archive every single image Jim.

Mines stored on a terabyte of external hard drive simply organized by year taken.

That HD shares space on a shelf in my safe beside my gold.

As the years have now become decades I've found those images to be of much more value than the gold.

Killed a 32 incher today - about average for our prairie rattlers.
Ours are marked differently from yours, and only occasionally exceed 3 feet.
Our western diamondbacks are a different story, though!

I guess they are called a Prairie Rattler. He was 3 and a half I bet.

Similar, but slightly different, than our local variety.
Thanks, and be careful, Jim. Kiddos too.

I've seen a few bullsnakes here, yesterday was the first rattler.
I believe the drought has affected their numbers, too.
For several years, I'd average ~ 14 per year - now it's been one for several years, now.
