Can’t give you an answer……but, I’ll talk to the girls sometimes this week! 🙂
In all seriousness, I used it years ago for casting…..still miss the aroma! memtb

On Amazon it's running ~ $12/lb for pure beeswax pellets and ~$19/lb in bars.
Luckily I have friends who have kept me supplied.

Ed That's insane. Any campfire regulars that need beeswax I'll send from my hives if you pay shipping. PM Dano

I'm a beekeeper. Scrape down some equipment and viola. A nice pile appears. I use it as a base to make my own bullet lube. Three ingredients: beeswax, hoglard, and avocado oil

Gaschekt, I have made lube in years past. Call it my 551 lube. 5 parts beeswax, 5 parts crisco and 1 part canola oil. Great for bpc guns. Add some crayons and works good for smokeless. I googled price of beeswax after I had asked on here. Crazy.

I haven't googled it. We sell it at the farmers market for $12/lb, or 1oz. bars for $2 ea.

With my recipe I've run 30cal gas-checked cast bullets to 2800fps with great accuracy and no leading

Hobby Lobby had 40% off all candle making supplies so beeswax pellets or bar was $10 per lb.
