I recently traded my 416 rigby for a 416 remington. I want to pick up some 416 Remington factory ammo so I can try it out. Does anyone have a good source with discount pricing? (I still have a supply of 416 Rigby ammo I no longer need if anyone's interested. See the classifieds for details). Thanks, Chris

Not sure where there is "cheap" 416 rem ammo. It runs about $120+ cndn here. You could almost make your own for the price of a box of factory loads.

Just a sample from MidWayUSA

Lee dies = $21
#4 shellholder = $7
20 rounds of R-P brass = $9
box of 50 Speer 350 gr. SP = $20
-----
Total = $57 for 50 rounds (assuming you already have powder and primers)
-----

Federal & Remington 400 gr. loads = $81 for 20 rounds
