Aqua velva after shave , that shiet would wake you up after shaving
Console stereos and Hank Williams , Loretta Lynn , and Gene Tracy truck stops for shirts and giggles .
6 volt batteries an generators
348 cubic inch and 409 chevys
Still a good many flat head motors still running back then .
The lawn mowers and garden cultivators that had the wrap around pull ropes .
Hell I started a 5hp hay convera with wrap around pull till I was probably 18 or so before that dam thing finally gave out .
Outside wash pans when you came out of the field and taking baths in galvanized wash tubs .
Wringer washers you were always warned about .
Grand dad still had a blacksmith bellows and anvil he used from time to time .

The auto recoil ropes were a great invention...when they worked. I remember spending many 'happy' hours rewinding those cussed springs. Sometimes it was easier to just use the old rope and be done with it.
