Or, in some cases, the week?

Fine day here, we could use a good rain.

Not great. Got the Vid. No big deal, just a bad cold.
Should be back at it by Monday.

It's weird, I'm getting every single thunderstorm here, wet as hell, and you're dry. I don't think we're that far apart. Microclimates at work.

I could never live somewhere hotter than this place. I am worn down from it.

Wabi,
Glad you asked. My day was tough, a real challenge. I drove up the mountain to gather huckleberries.
The weather was really hot, like 85 degrees. The huckleberries were sparse. It took wifey and me an hour to collect enough to top my birthday cheese cake... the horror...
Did I mention the mosquito bite I got? and fly's there were fly's buzzing me.
It was horrible and I will no longer be leaving my couch and enduring such hardship. smile

We've been busy flood irrigating 65 acres of corn and 110 acres of second cutting alfalfa. And running back and forth 20 miles north trying to put up some dismal dry land hay.

It's been two weeks straight of 5AM till 5-9PM. I sleep like a f'n baby! Should be done Sunday afternoon with irrigating.

This morning.

"Rattlesnake Bill," Of Goldrock mine fame, got his nickname when he was logging in the US southwest.
Sitting on a log eating his lunch, he picked up what he though was a sausage, turned out to be, a rattlesnake.

Had a good day, thank you. Shot a little 44 special out of my GP100, and some 41 magnum out of my M57. I hadn’t shot any of my handguns in a while, so I enjoyed doing so.

I would trade about 2 inches a day of our rain to anyone - every day for the last month - not all day but hard as snot for a couple hours. It was a really good day. Productive at work and got to scout a bit. Learned the new stray dog will recall from pigs and ignore deer and turkeys. Well, maybe not ignore but not leap out the window and chase them off into the sunset. He thought it was pretty cool that he could make deer run by barking at them.
