I have a Sheriff buddy that ran a Malinois and has him as a "pet" since they retired him.
His demeanor is much more like a machine than a pet.
Ha'll fetch his bone though, but you're probably gonna get a little bit trying to get it away from him.
Crazy, intense dogs. That’s my understanding. A GSD plus some, before the working temperament was breed out of most GSD lines.

I saw one awhile back where the dog grab the perp from the front. The cops would not call off the dog until he raised his hands and got cuffed. Imagine raising your hands and waiting to get cuffed while a dog has a hold of your balls.
