I have a Crossman 1400. Had the piston seals replaced a few years back. I'm looking for the proper oil for it.
Any suggestions as to where I can find some ?

You want to make sure all O-ring seals are a chemically resistant variety before using ATF so it may be best to stick with silicone based lubricants.

I did a re-seal kit in a Crosman 1400 (mac1 kit) and it seems sticky. I used the Secret Sauce that came with the kit. Is that your trouble as well?

I had Tim McMurry rebuilt a couple of S&W 77As and have used his Secret Sauce with good results. The S&Ws are hard hitting, but not as accurate as I'd like for them to be.

Make sure that you have some time to spend on the phone if you call Tim, as he has a lot to share.

Just to be clear from the back of the Pellgun oil container:
Caution: PETROLEUM BASED OIL. Not for use with break barrel or pre charged pneumatic (PCP) AIRGUNS.
