Had a LH Rem 700 in 30-06 but sold it here.

I’ve been looking for a Ruger American in 308 or 7mm-08, or a Browning X-Bolt in the same calibers, preferably the micro midas version.

I figured that’s what you meant but wanted to confirm. I just recently learned that the Browning A-Bolt was made in 22LR, and didn’t know if Browning began making the X-Bolt in 22LR. Thanks for clarifying.

I used to feel that way to, but when you look at some of the redundant nonsense available to righties I’m happy from the port side. I would like a reliable left handed 20 gauge gas operated semi auto though.

+1 and not a benelli

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

I sent my LH SBEII down the road. Inertia recoil was punishing my surgically repaired shoulder. I am very happy with my LH Beretta A400 gasser with Kick-Off. 12s feel like 20s. The difference is noticeable.

The only LH rifle I currently own is a 60's vintage model 700 in .270 Win. I've been on the hunt for a LH .243 and a 30-06 for a while now.

Browning T-Bolt 22LR Sporter
Browning T-Bolt 17 HMR Varmint

Most are ambidextrous:
Weihrauch HW77 .22 pneumatic
4x Ruger #1
4x Winchester 1885
Browning BPS 12ga

The only RH's I own are my first Glenfield Model 60 22LR from 50 years ago & my AR-15. I really prefer a LH gun & debated a long time on whether to get a LH AR-15. Eventually decided since all of my hunting buddies owned one as well & it is a military "standard" to go with the more common variant that everyone was familiar with. Still don't know if I made a good choice. It's a Wilson Combat chambered in 300 HAM'R & eventually it will become my nighttime Texas hog gun. I haven't had a chance to test it out thoroughly yet. I came really close to getting a LH Browning BAR in .308 instead because I wanted this particular rifle to be semi-auto.

Being right-handed but having a terrible right eye, I can still shoot right when I want / need to. I shot my last deer right-handed @ 150 meters because I was in a stand & it was to my left at an angle that made rotating for left-handed shooting awkward. Good optics tends to overcome some of my sight shortcomings. But it's been a lifelong defect so shooting left is way more natural now & not nearly as much of a strain. Because of the close range, bow hunting is the only thing I do exclusively right-handed & right-eyed. My pistol shooting is mixed right-handed left-eyed.

CZ550 375 H&H (Hope to re-barrel to 404J)
Rem 700 270 Win

Definitely limited options when it comes to left handed offerings.
