MTG,I was swatted last night.

No, there isnt. They justify the means by the end. Nothing more dangerous than a group that thinks they have the high moral ground.

I wasn't familiar with the term "swatting". Guess it means a swat team arrived.

It may well have been some Rino that pulled that.

The penalty for swatting should be very severe, and the justification bar very high for police. This is, as Hawkeye said, very dangerous for everyone involved.

It looks like the police suspected what was going on and didn't come in with guns blazing. Good on them for spotting it and not letting this scumbag get away with it. Hopefully they'll be able to catch and prosecute the thugs with the extra resources that should get thrown at this because they tried it on a member of Congress.

SWATTING is when you call in a false report that someone has said that he or she has a gun and is going to start shooting people, and he or she lives at .....

The purpose is to create a situation where the target will be harmed or killed by the SWAT team that arrives. The left has been doing this regularly for years now to conservatives, with no legal consequences.

Green just told Alex Jones that when she heard the SWAT team on her front lawn in the middle of the night, she grabbed her gun, and went towards the front door with it in hand. Fortunately, before opening the door, she heard something that gave her the clue that it was the police, and put it down before opening it.

Since our phone networks were tied to the internet, it's nearly impossible to track where these calls actually come from, let alone who made the call when they come from the internet. It's been happening for years, and LEOs still don't care about SWATing enough to look into prevention or slowing their reckless tactics to gauge the situation before blazing guns. There was a young man who was playing video games and someone wanted to SWAT him, but the to be recipient gave a false address, and the man who answered his door had his cellphone in his hand, the cops told him to show his hands and when he did, they shot him dead in his doorway.



The only reason why they could track this one was because the caller was connected to a LA library's wifi to make the call, but when done through other means or from outside of this country it's nearly impossible to track and any investigative LEOs won't even bother attempting.

In the old days, before the police were militarized, this couldn't have happened. They would just send a black and white, two uniformed cop team, to investigate. Then, only if it appeared to be legit, would reinforcements be called in.

If any conservative would have done that to a democrat politician, the FIBs would be knocking on their door 10 minutes later.
