Visa, MasterCard, Binance and others are now accepting crypto currencies as credit card payments despite the crypto groups being in “the winter” of crypto currencies.

That's one way to get divested. Whilst Visa/MC get it on the cheap.
They weren't interested when crypto values were sky high?
How's the saying go....buy low/sell high?

I used to mainly check out the 24hcf and zerohedge. Now I just check out the fire because pretty much every article posted to zerohedge gets cut and pasted here by 2 or 3 of the same guys anyway. Convenient actually.

They weren't interested when crypto values were sky high? Visa and MC have been doing this for more than a year. Binance is a crypto exchange and they don't manage their own cards and they partner with MC. As far as I know they don't offer lines of credit for the cards, purchases are against the aggregate funds in the trading account. They've been offering cards like these for at least a couple of years. In the case of Visa and MC they do not hold crypto on their books. They partner with exchanges that convert payments made in crypto to fiat immediately.

Houston Texans Organization now accepting Bitcoin as payment for Suites. May expand to include other cryptos later.

As I understand it, crypto is treated like an asset disposition for income tax purposes when you use it to buy something or to pay a debt, unlike using money. So, it seems like an accounting nightmare to use it for minor transactions.
