My brother bought a Tesla for $65 Grand. He loves it and it is his primary car. I wired him up a 220 charging station in his carport. I used a dryer receptacle he bought at Lowes. Took about one hour. I'm not licensed but am pretty good with residential wiring.
Brother didn't vote for Bernie, in 2016 he didn't even vote. He is far, far from a Greenie.
Tomorrow we will roll down to the YMCA in the Tesla, a 19 mile trip. I like to ride around in the electric car, it is fast. Really fast, and smooth and quiet.
Maximum range is 220 miles. If running a/c, range is 140 miles on a good day. Brother has had the car for 2 years. He has 2 guys online offering him $5 grand more than he paid for it, cash. The waiting line for a new Tesla now is 10 months.
You put down $200 cash deposit and order your new Tesla, and wait 10 months. Such a low deposit because Tesla doesn't care if you show up in Charlotte at the dealer, to pick it up, or not. Your new Tesla arrives at the dealer, you better show up in 72 hours with the cash, or they will sell the car to the next person in line. Uh, so you road the road with a no good asswhole who didn't vote? OK, that does it Simon.

I did not know that two of the items that Toyota has invented over all their years were deemed by a court to involve infringement... and that a $25 per car royalty had to be paid for a few years on select models. In a related update... my replacement 18v drill battery is $150.
