I know the price of everything has gone up significantly in the psat couple years. However, I was really surprised at the price for the custom rifle below. Thumbnail approx $3,000-$3,500 worth of parts, retail. Puts the barrel fitting and assembly labor at $1,500-$2,000? Nice clean looking rifle. But, what am I missing on the price ? https://www.gunsinternational.com/g...rebel-6-5-creedmoor.cfm?gun_id=102043320

Can't tell you that I can see it either. The more I see these prices sky rocket the more I value some of my used rifles. I have always thought about screwing rifles together on a made to order basis. As I am a Mc.... Was thing about giving a 100 dollar discount on all Left Hand Rifles. Guy could order a "McLefty" for $100 Less instead of a 100 more!

Instead of a $100-$200 premium for a LH rifle..

5K for that rifle is ridiculous.
You could build that gun for $3500 exactly how you wanted.

Definitely over priced. I built a custom .308 16.5" Proof rifle and just got it last week....was about $3500'ish all said and done, maybe a tad more. But it's actually how I wanted it as well.

Yup thats overpriced for a used rifle. I have several full custom builds all cost almost half that.
