DC court, no surprise they'd find something to make it 'illegal'. In Canada, there is no level of environmental assessment which can be done to get an O&G project approved.

Proper environmental assessments were not done. A red herring trotted out when all else fails. How long have we been drilling and producing oil and gas in the gulf? The environmental impacts are well-known. Leasing itself has none, so you're really talking about the impacts of drilling and production and the specifics on those aren't even known at the leasing stage.

What about the Biden massive oil & gas leases that were approved as part of the inflation reduction act two weeks ago? Are these ok without environmental review but Trump's not ok? What a screwed up system! Biden's Oil & Gas Lease SteamrollPresident Biden reinstated the largest oil and gas lease sale in U.S. history, essentially steamrolling the need for environmental review, by signing the Inflation Reduction Act into law on Tuesday.
