BIL sent me two books by him. one on Lusitania and ...some other. Wondering if anyone has an opinion of the author.

Am about 1/2 way done with Dead Wake. Really interesting. So full of details, individuals, how and why and all things coming to a head. Such a more immersive read than a recent book on the war in the pacific called Pacific Thunder.

Dead Wake - Fantastic read. The amount of information and personal experience ....and of course the putting of blame that is so often typical.
Now on to another Larson book "In The Garden of Beasts".
Just when I begin to think- okay, maybe Germans were folks just like us ...maybe a few bad apples.......
Always good to keep getting a view of what was really going on through different eyes and ears.
