Hey all, I'm looking to get my Remington made Guide Gun gone through. Have never had any issues with function or accuracy, but I would like to have to action honed and trigger redone so it has a lighter and more crisp break. Any recommendations on who to use for this? Thank you!
Easiest would be to watch a couple of disassembly videos on youtube. Lightly polish the "wear" surfaces with 400-1000 grit wet or dry. Don't take any metal off, just polish!
Highly recommend Grace USA screw driver set made for Marlin 1895.
Don't use regular screw drivers.

I recommend skipping the removal of the forearm screws and magazine tubes. They CAN be tricky (on some rifles) to replace and sometimes are slightly angled and require alternate equal turns of the screw.
Advise using your thumb and index finger of your free hand to hold the screw driver at the screw to eliminate chance of boogering your finish.
If stainless, one of the 3 grits of 3M pads can remove most light scratches following the "grain" of the surface. Finish off any handling marks with Mother's Polish or equivalent. Also great for removing gall/wear marks on the bolt.
