Hi picked up a marlin 39 artical ll not much info on,none sold at gb,any ideas on what 1 is worth in 90%cond?

Nuthin special about it.....emblem on receiver......X amount of units mfg

I believe they had an octagon barrel and were made only one year. Say what you want about being nothing special but most of these 39A nuts do tend to give that one a premium desire. I’ve seen them list 1k to 1.2k and I don’t recall the last time I saw one sell for under 900.00
I’d buy one for 900.00 in great shape if I was wanting one but that’s my max I would go because I’m a cheap sob. Also I would be shooting it not looking at it.

Got that one confused with the wildlife forever model. My bad.
Don’t recall the price on an Article II sold recently.

The ArtII rifles came as a 39M or 39A, the difference being 20" vs 24" barrels. The 39M models are seen more often than the 24" 39A. At least from what I've seen over the years. Like anything, value depends on condition. I've seen them run from $800 for decent condition to $1500 for ones new with box.
