A few years ago i was looking into weatherby rifles. Really nice rifles but I didn't have much interest in the 9 lug magnum action. At that time it was the only option for left hand. Glad to see the 6 lug action is now available in left hand. I don't hunt in open country but i carry my rifle up and over mountains in fairly thick cover so light weight is nice. Been dreaming about the sako carbonlight and now I can add the weatherby backcountry to my list of drool worthy left had rifles.

Wtf is Weatherby thinking? Why the hell can't they market a LH non-magnum lightweight rifle?
Who the hell runs these companies?
Questions, questions. Moving on; Weatherby is run by idiots.

Yeah, I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for a 300 Wby in a super lightweight rifle....
Said literally no one, ever.

I don’t believe the six lug action is available in left hand. Pretty sure these are all the large 9 lug actions.

The weatherby back country rifles are offered in the 6 lug actions now. Used to, they only offered them in the 9 lug but this year they have introduced them in the 6 lug. That being said, its a $2500+ rifle.
I have heard Adam Weatherby himself say about left handers "they are 90% of the internet, but only 10% of buyers." Of course don't go after the guy he said it jokingly. I would hardly say Weatherby is run by idiots

Only rifles I see listed in left hand are chambered in the 257 Weatherby, 6.5-300 Weatherby and the 300 Weatherby which are all built on the 9 lug action.
Anyone have a link to the smaller 6 lug action in left hand?

Only 10% buy because Bee offers garbage to guys that want lightweight popular-caliber LH mountain rifles. Who the f*** markets only magnum calibers in their ultra lightweights to a LH demographic?! Pure lunacy.

I’m still more frustrated that Kimber doesn’t offer the 84 in left hand. Kinda the same deal at Kimber, people at the top not thinking it’s worth the effort

I've got a few friend that shoot right hand rifles left handed. I prefer a left handed bolt myself. My grandfather and father also lefties both used lever gun because a left hand bolt was pretty hard to come by at those times. Even today you're options are limited. Drooled over many rifles but very few of them were offered left hand.

Looks to me like Weatherby has officially added all cartridges in left hand, including things like 6.5 creedmoor, 280 AI and the 6.5RPM. Now I’m interested!

I'm very hopeful to eat my above words, time will tell! After years of 'magnum' LH purgatory, maybe somebody at W'by is finally listening.

I personally don't lust for Weatherby rifles though.
