Anyone heard details on the Howa 6mm ARC actual release in the USA or across the pond? Release date was originally slated for this spring though spring has come and gone & now we are inching in to fall.

Howa needs to bring out the Mini in the same configuration as the Alpine model was.............with a nice lightweight stock, and bottom metal that does away with that stupid plastic magazine that hangs down.

Too bad they don't sip from AR mags and offer a right proper BDL metal floorplate and DBM bottom. Hint..............

I did.

And to add to that.....I like the cheap metal magazine that hangs down in the CZ 527 also.

They have a mini in a nice lightweight stock, but no signs of a bottom metal solution. They’d be money ahead to buy the design from Wayne at Oregunsmithing. May need to source a higher volume producer to keep up with their volume, but that should be an easy problem to solve.

I have one of those coming in .223 and I’m still not decided on whether to run the mags with a replacement trigger guard or to get another floorplate from Wayne. Leaning towards the former as I want to use a rail. Pretty much a toss-up cost-wise.

The platform makes a rather poor 223,due COAL. Bank the near .250" advantage inherent same in PPC and you can do some thangs. Such as smooch magfed 88's and 90 Beer Cans. Hint.

The rail and plastic, really compromising the 223 most. Hint................

Yeah, I get that, but there’s seldom an opportunity to stretch one out around here, and if I do need it I can always pull out the Fieldcraft 6.

This is gonna be more of a lightweight walking around gun for Grandpa, like my Grendel.

THE beauty of a 224 PPC Alaskan Fhuqking Improved,is that there is NO downside. 88/90's are spectacular, from a 19" long,7" RPM spout and that length reduction,is also a weight reduction, which improves both balance and handling. Hint.

It really could give a schit less if it's a 10' shot,or 1000yds++,because mechanically,it is ALL there. None of that is a "fluke" and I ASSURE you, that you won't be reaching for another rifle. Hint.
