OP OAM Campfire Member O Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 464 Kenai Pen, AK	I got a pretty good black bear this weekend. I feel like he's worthy of becoming a rug. Anybody have recommendations on a taxidermist on the Kenai peninsula?

It is not a bad idea to have them tan it which makes it far easier to ship to a taxidermist anywhere. Then you can pick based on work quality rather than location. My son's first black bear was ruined by Knight's and they tried to blame it on slipping hair in the face. First time I ever saw hair leave roots behind when it slipped. Took serious effort to get the deposit back... they tried to sell us another hide... Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
