About to go to Colorado on my first mule deer bow hunt (first mule first time deer with bow) but I bow fish lots.
Looking for a packable mid-weight layer recommendation for the mornings there. Im not good at being cold

I like the older Easton Core 4 Element stuff. Not sure of your size..........but the Mountain Mimicry pullover and a Selway vest makes a DARNED fine combo.
Do an eBay search for both. They're on there at the moment.

Down jackets are great for being packable and super warm...provided they stay dry. Make sure your outer layer is waterproof. Just about every major outdoor brand including the non-hunting ones make some sort of down jacket. North Face, Marmot, REI, Sitka, KUIU... Where are you headed in CO?
