Usually I grow San Marzano or the like for canning and marinara. This year I tried a new variety called Jory. Had no idea a sauce tomato could grow like this. And they are all big! Will have to try those next year. My San Marzanos and Romas were just crap this year. I’m keeping a garden notebook starting this year, what worked, what didn’t, things to do differently next year etc….
