That looks like a '72. Turn signals in the bumper.... I learned to drive in a '72 with a 3 on the tree. Good times!!

I sure could go for some $2.50/gal gas and a mean tweet!

Had a 69 model with the 307, man that thing smoked even with non foulers. Put a 305 I rebuilt in it, I miss that old truck. Got it in 2006, and it still had the blank plate where the radio would be

That's cool! Can't wait to see the finished interior.

The 307 is a ginormous pile of crap. Even more gutless than the 305, IMO.

Even better, Dad had some pics of the old custom interior on his bench that were impressively dated. I'll snag some pics of those too. LOL

71-72 grill & bumper Bob. Spot on.

The cool thing in the day, or so I thought, was to use a 71-72 bumper with parking lights & a 69-70 grill with parking lights in it for a total of 4. But few noticed.

All the 307 camshafts were junk. 305 was what I had on hand

Thanks Hig. Your Dad is a master and I'm eagerly waiting the pics. One of these days I've gotta git back down there and choot your Voodoo and we can fill our pie holes with some Drunkin Dumplin. If you haven't already it's to die for. Or Mamona, food coma ensues.

We seriously don’t have a single upholstery guy left around here. I had an appointment lined up with the last good guy 6mo’s out last year for my daughters VW Golf Got a call from his SIL that they’d found him dead in the shop and (obviously) the job was canceled.

Dad's 8 months out usually and I'm 100% we will find him on the shop floor one day.

With any luck as that is exactly the way he'd wanna go out.

Me too and I've never been a Chevy guy.
67-72, but I like them too. I think they’re the best looking Chevy trucks ever.

We've only Door Dashed Mamona (during Covid) and it was pretty good.

Drunken Dumpling is just up the road.
