Could be a 71 or 72 for all I know Jim. I'm pushing my luck calling it a Chevy.

Higgies truck pic has a 71-72 bumper & grill, the hood is correct. 69-70 trucks shared same hood. 67-68's had a lower front.

Correct on the bumper/grill for 71-72, and the doors appear to be 72.

Nice truck! I've always been partial to those years. Learned to drive in a 72 Suburban. Recently sold a 71 Blazer and have had two K10 SWB's with 4 speed manuals (still have one).

My mistake.

I thought the thread was about a 70 Chevy....not a 70's Chevy.

My brother has done several old Chebby pickup ground up restorations.

Here's one in progress that he built for his son.

Nice looking truck...except for the color! But that's just me, we all have our own likes and dislikes.

Looks like your Dad has done that a time or two!

Nice, but where did the gas tank go? Boom box residing behind the seat in it's place. It's always a good idea to get those out of the cab.

My '68 SWB work in progress. It needs the brakes converted to disc. It has power drums brakes. I'd love to score a original buddy bucket seat for it.
