Getting a stye, lower right eyelid sucks. What do you do for the?

Stop eating ass.

Mom used to lance them with a needle.

Not an option

I’ve never had one but thought I had one starting last week. Same eye, same place. It never turned into anything to speak of.

That young thang has different chemicals, or, an STD. Good luck & hope it was worth it.

"A red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple.
A stye can develop after the small glands that line the eyelid get plugged.
Styes are often filled with pus. Sometimes a stye can form on the inner part of the eyelid.
In most cases, a stye will begin to disappear on its own in a few days. A warm washcloth applied to the eyelid may relieve pain and discomfort."

Put a hot wash rag on it for awhile, then stick the head of it with a needle like Jim Conrad said.

Yeah I put a steaming hot wash cloth on em so they get good and juicy then I stab em w/ a needle.

Rub the tail of a black cat on it (mountain folklore). Tried it, but don't remember if it worked or not

Just do warm and moist ( not hot enough to burn your skin) compresses. 2-3 times a hour for 3-4 hours and it will burst and go away

Do not lance it. Not necessary. To much risk of corneal injury. I’ve seen it happen

Just compress and massage it. Yours is almost there and it will go away when it pops

He would rub a gold ring on them to pop 'em....

BS flag on that one! I've got years of experience peeing in the road at camp and never got one.

Get them all the time since laser surgery. Hot rag compress, lance it. Fugkin sucks.

I've had them a good number of times. Warm damp compress is the go. I usually use a teabag - make a cup of black tea with a teabag and hold the teabag on your eye while you drink the tea. I start with it as hot as I can stand and hold it in place until the teabag's at room temperature.

Failing that, a clean cloth, moist and heated in the microwave (or moistened with water from the kettle) will do, though I believe the tannin in the tea helps.

I definitely would not lance it. Too much risk of injury. I've never needed to do it either. I am not, however, a doctor.

I hear getting smacked in the eye with a cinder block works. I can't vouch for that method.
