The retail sale of alcohol here is all run by the mafia............errrrr.........I mean state gov't. Criminals don't like competition. Walmarts........gas stations........grocery stores.........they don't sell wine or beer. Harder liquors are ALL sold in state-run facilities.

I never was much of a drinker, I just never liked the taste of it. Ice tea on the other hand is some good stuff.

Decent beer is OK on a hot day. I much prefer a smooth bourbon or rye.


Definitely QUALITY over quantity on either.

We have our ABC stores for harder stuff, but wine and beer is everywhere else.

That's how I feel about liquor. Might be good for dulling pain, but that's about it.

To hear a certain jackass on the hunters campfire forum talk, you'd think Va. was the last great bastion of freedom in the whole Country. The wife and I have seriously been considering a move to another State but the more research we do the more we find they all seem to have some pretty fuucked up laws and situations we don't like.
